Gravity Reference Aligned with Global Leading Techniques
LOGG participates in the BIPM-organised International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters (ICAG), which is held every four years and is the most effective way to evaluate the accuracy of gravity observations.
In ICAG 2005 (FG5-224, BIPM) the difference from the published reference value was about 1 nm/s² (+1.1 μGal).
In ICAG 2009 (FG5-224, BIPM) the difference was about 4 nm/s² (−4.3 μGal).
In ICAG 2013 (FG5-231, Luxembourg) the difference was about 2 nm/s² (−2.2 μGal).
