The National Gravity Reference Station (LOGG) hosts a nano-resolution superconducting gravimeter, an FG-5 absolute gravimeter, airborne and shipborne gravimeters, etc., and is jointly planned with domestic and international institutes to function as an international-standard "Laboratory of Geodesy and Geodynamics".
Long-term observations established here provide a stable and reliable gravity reference for all gravity surveys in Taiwan. The Center regularly publishes scientific results on environmental monitoring so that the wider community can understand the latest developments in gravity-based hazard monitoring.
