Graviton-EG Relative Gravimeter
Introduction
Unlike other electronic gravimeters that compensate for tilt by computation, the Graviton-EG is a fully featured, fully automatic, self-levelling portable gravimeter. Motor-driven feet provide a truly levelled reading, eliminating manual dial corrections and per-station hand calculations. After years of refinement it offers excellent sensitivity and observation range.
Features
Key advantages include: easy operation, auto-levelling, ruggedness, light weight, full functionality, high sensitivity, integrated data acquisition and expandability.
Sensor Specifications
The EG uses a Zero-Length Metal Spring sensor by LaCoste & Romberg with a resolution better than 0.0001 μGal. Repeatability under controlled conditions reaches 0.001 mGal; in the field it ranges from 0.003 to 0.020 mGal. Monthly absolute drift is below 1.0 μGal. Coupled with 32 MB of flash memory, more than 100,000 stations can be recorded.
